MailChimp: Email Marketing

ActiveProspect partners with MailChimp to offer sections of the MailChimp API 3.0 directly through LeadConduit.

You can use the LeadConduit MailChimp Integration to Add a Member to an existing List.

What you'll need to get started:

  • A MailChimp account
  • A List ID
  • An API Key

The documentation below will show you where to find the List ID and API Key.

Adding and Configuring MailChimp: Add Member

From your selected Flow, choose Edit, scroll to the bottom of the Steps tab, select the Add Delivery option, and search for/scroll to MailChimp and select.

Next, you'll need to provide some information so LeadConduit can communicate with MailChimp.

Log in to your MailChimp account and find the List you want to add members to. Switch to the Settings tab and you'll find the List ID. You will copy+paste this value into the MailChimp List ID field in your flow:

Next, load the Account menu from the MailChimp menu in the upper right corner, then select Extras -> API Keys from the tabbed menu.

Click the Create a Key button and give it the label LeadConduit, so you remember for what system you created it. Then copy+paste the API Key value into the MailChimp API Key field:

Click Ok and Save the flow.

The email you collect with the lead will automatically be sent to the MailChimp API and you don't need to manually map it in the field mapping section.

At a minimum, this is all that is required to add an email to your MailChimp list. Congrats!
