Basic Configuration

Adding File Columns

Type the column name into the text box and click "Add".
Column names are case-sensitive alphanumeric (a-z, A-Z, 0-9) and can include dashes and underscores. Spaces and other special characters are not currently allowed.
You can drag-and-drop column names to reorder, and delete a column name by clicking the "-" icon.

Delivery schedule options:

  • Preset times (account-configurable time zone)
  • Preset intervals
  • Cron expressions (UTC).

Deliveries can be scheduled for daily or weekly delivery as well as on a schedule of every 15 or 30 minutes. If you need more advanced scheduling, you can utilize the advanced "cron expression" feature. For more information on how to formulate cron expressions, check out this Wikipedia article. Also, while the daily, weekly and every delivery calculate time zones automatically to match your configured time zone, cron expressions are based on UTC and will require manual adjustment to the hour portion of that expression.

File transfer delivery options:

BatchRobot allows several delivery methods, including FTP, SFTP, and FTPS. See this article for full details on delivery options and how to set them up.

Activating a new delivery

After you've configured a delivery with at least one column, a banner will appear that says "This delivery is valid but to start your outbound deliveries as scheduled you still need to activate it. Click here to activate this delivery". Click on the "Click here" link where instructed. Your delivery is now activated, ready to receive inbound data and execute outbound deliveries as configured.

Sending data to BatchRobot.

Note the URL under the "Capture Inbound Records" checkbox. This is the URL to which you'll send your data, one row at a time, via HTTP POST or GET, using the BatchRobot column names as parameter names. Multi-record submissions are not supported.

Sending data to BatchRobot from a LeadConduit Campaign

  • Create a LeadConduit "BatchRobot"-type delivery
  • Note the URL under the "Capture Inbound Records" checkbox in BatchRobot. Use that as your LeadConduit delivery destination's URL. (The string between "" and "/receive" is the BatchRobot delivery identifier.)
  • Match the parameter names to the BatchRobot column names
