How Canceling an Account Works

When your account is canceled, all features are disabled. This means:

  • API access will be disabled
  • All stored TrustedForm certificates will be deleted
  • LeadConduit flows and batch delivery of files will be disabled
  • The account will be removed from the Source and Recipient Libraries
  • List records will be deleted

Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  1. Disable Features:

    • Access the Features Hub in your ActiveProspect account by navigating to the Features section.
    • Disable all features

    Expected Result: All features are disabled and the account is Inactive.

  2. (Optional) Request Wallet Balance Refund:

    • If your wallet balance has a remaining balance, you can contact support to receive a refund.

    Expected Result: Remaining wallet balance is refunded to the credit card on file.

  3. (Optional) Delete Credit Card:

    • Go to the Wallet tab in the Billing section of your account. Use the action menu in the Payment section to remove the credit card on the account.

    Expected Result: Credit card is removed from the account.
