profile fields update dynamically based on your company role.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1. Open Your Company Profile
- Log in to your ActiveProspect account.
- Navigate to your account settings.
- Select Company Profile.
Expected Result:
You see your Company Profile with editable sections.
Step 2. Select Your Role
Your selected role determines which fields appear in your profile.
Available Roles:
- Lead Buyer – Buys leads from sellers and contacts them
directly - Lead Seller – Sells leads from domains you own and operate
- Lead Buyer & Seller – Buys and sells first- and third-party
leads - 1st Party Marketer – Generates leads from owned websites and
does not buy leads from vendors
- Locate the Role field.
- Select the option that best describes your business.
- Review the fields that appear based on your selection.
Expected Result:
Your profile updates dynamically to match your role.
Step 3. Complete Company Information
Provide core details about your business, such as:
- Company logo
- Company name (auto-filled)
- Joined date (auto-filled)
- Company website
- LinkedIn page
- Company description
- Company size
- Year established
- Upload your logo.
- Review auto-filled fields for accuracy.
- Complete remaining fields.
- Save changes.
Step 4. Add Primary Contact
Enter the primary contact’s:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
Save your changes when finished.
The primary contact will not be displayed publically on your profile.
Step 5. Complete Lead Details
Lead Details vary depending on your role. You may be able to configure:
- Lead verticals and sub-verticals
- ZIP code coverage or requirements
- Lead types (e.g., inbound call, shared/exclusive, chatbot, warm
transfer, social lead ads) - Verified domains (for sellers)
- Pricing models and payment details (for sellers)
- Monthly average spend (for buyers)
- Conferences attended
Save your updates when complete. You can return at any time to edit.
Step 6. Preview Your Profile
If your account is set to Buyer & Seller, you can preview both views.
- Locate the Preview toggle.
- Switch between Buyer and Seller views.
- Confirm your profile displays correctly.
Validate Your Setup
- Ensure your Role is selected.
- Confirm Company Information and Primary Contact are complete.
- Review Lead Details for accuracy.
- Use Preview to confirm visibility.
- Save all changes.
Profile Updates & Audit Log
All profile edits are tracked in your account’s Audit Log, where you
can review:
- What was changed
- When it was changed
- Who made the change

Q: Can I save my profile without completing everything?
Yes. You can save a partially completed profile and return later.
Q: Can I change my company role later?
Yes. Updating your role will update the fields shown.
Q: Who can see my Company Profile?
Connected partners see the version of your profile that matches your
relationship.
