How is External Pricing Service Configured?

This capability is split into two parts - the first part is the configuration of a reusable “Integration Template” by ActiveProspect, and the second is configured by you within your flow settings using the aforementioned Integration Template.

How do I get an Integration Template set up?

Reach out to your Client Success Manager to arrange this. For the quickest turnaround, please provide any documentation of the available API, ideally with a sample request and response, so we know what values to pass to the service and how to extract the “price” from the response.

How can I set up a flow to use an Integration Template?

1. Once all the mappings are configured & the integration has been saved, you will be able to select the newly created integration template during Pricing configuration, as seen below:

2. Add a “Fallback Price” to be used if the External Pricing service cannot be reached

3. Once the Pricing configuration is complete, it will appear as seen below:

4. The next time a Ping is received, the External Service will be called, and the price returned will be used to bid back to the seller!
