Trends is a feature in LeadConduit that provides data visualizations to help you understand your lead health trends over time. Built to expand LeadConduit’s reporting offering, Trends provides a range of charts, graphs, and tabulations to visualize aggregate LeadConduit data unrestricted by data retention policy (typically 90 days).

Trends allow you to examine your lead data in aggregate or filter by flow, source, or recipient for specified analysis. In addition, a highly flexible date selector provides the granularity needed, from minute to quarterly options. This data is critical to understanding, managing, and maturing any marketing endeavor.

Trends expand your assessment tools (dashboards and reports), provide powerful graphics, and unprecedented access to historical data. What’s not to love? Choosing an assessment tool is based on your current needs.

Dashboards: Understand the current state of your lead flows. With near-real-time lead data accessibility, your home and flow dashboards are where you go to monitor for issues and troubleshoot.

Reports: Tabularly display lead statistics based on your criteria to understand flow, source, or recipient performance. Statistics are built from and linked to the underlying lead event data so that you can drill down all the way back to the specific lead’s journey through a flow. Share reports with vendors or external stakeholders for monthly reporting purposes. Learn more about reports.

Trends: visualize, filter, and graphically interact with your lead data. Visualize volume drops from source, flow, or recipient, or track your real-time rejection reasons. Look at aggregate volume decoupled from lead event data and unrestricted by data retention periods to understand how your lead flows are trending.

Trend Use Case
  • How is one vendor performing this month compared to last month?
  • What are my lead volume trends?
  • How do I compare YOY lead reporting data to identify volume shifts?
  • What are the times during the week that leads typically come into our system? I want to inform my sales team of the ‘hot’ delivery times so we can plan accordingly
  • How is a specific vendor performing? Why are their leads failing, and is my rejection rate decreasing over time?

How does it work?

Access your default data visualizations by navigating to the Trends menu item below reports.

You can apply a global filter to drill down into a particular source, flow, recipient, or timeframe by selecting it from the dropdown menus at the top. Filters impact all charts on the Trends dashboards.

Pro Tip: You can click on any chart result to filter all charts by that value. For example, if you click on Flow A in the Submitted Leads by Flow chart, all charts will remove Flow A lead data from the visualizations. This essentially acts as an inverse filter for Flow A.

Available Data

  • Lead data is updated every 15 minutes
  • Lead data is currently available from mid-June 2021 onwards
  • Lead data in charts is displayed not in your browser time but in Central / America Chicago timezone (UTC -6).

FAQ

What is the logic in the graph order?

  • Data is displayed in a different order based on volume.

How do I disambiguate lines at the bottom of a graph?

  • Hover over the lines to identify what flow, source, or recipient they represent, which will highlight individual lines that overlap.

Does this change my 90-day data retention period for lead event data?

  • No, Lead event data is only available in LeadConduit for the data retention period. Trends use aggregate metrics and are not linked to the lead events.

How do I see data for a specific Date Range?

  • Click on the Date dropdown menu at the top of the page to find date filtering options. Use the “Between” option to select a specific Date Range.
