How the Confirmed Owner Works

When you request the confirmed_owner property in an Insights request, the originating domain will be looked up in ActiveProspect’s domain registration database. If that domain has been registered then the owner will be identified. If the owner is one of your connected partners and has given permission to display their name to you then the value of the confirmed_owner property will be the name of that partner’s account in the ActiveProspect platform. If the owner is not someone you are connected with the value will simply be “ActiveProspect Verified Account”. IF the domain has not been registered the value will be “No Verified ActiveProspect Account Identified”.
