In some scenarios, it may be ideal to copy an existing Step or Field Mapping to avoid setting it up again. Here are instructions on how to do both:

To copy an existing Step:

  1. Click the settings cog on the right side of the Step.
  2. Select “Copy Step” from the dropdown.

3. Select the destination Flow you would like to copy the Step to, then select “Finish.”
4. Once you are directed to the destination Flow, click “Save” to save the Step at the bottom of your Flow.

Things to note:

  • If you copy a Step, it will be linked to the same recipient as the original Step. This can be helpful when copying the same recipient to multiple Flows, but it’s important to note for reporting purposes, as the recipient linked to the Step can’t be changed.
  • Mappings can be copied within the same Step, but it is not possible to copy a Mapping from one Step to a different Step in the Flow.
