Summary:
This guide discusses the specific nuances surrounding the Feedback Settings within LeadConduit's native LeadPerfection integration.
What is Conversion Feedback?
Conversion feedback is the process by which lead recipients report the final outcome—whether a lead converted or was returned—to the lead management system for performance tracking and process optimization.

LeadConduit Native LeadPerfection integration:
LeadPerfection integration allows you to post leads from LeadConduit directly into a LeadPerfection CRM account using a pre‑configured standard mapping.
- There is a fantastic article detailing the specific setup instructions for the LeadPerfection integration here
Specific setup instruction for LeadConduit feedback - client side:
- as is the case with LeadPerfection integration without conversion feedback enabled, the integration must be created with LP account credentials that are used only for ActiveProspect
-
** the LeadPerfection Client ID configured in the integration step must have "API access for GetActiveProspectLeads checked off."
- the client must reach out to LeadPerfection; we are unable to do this ourselves, and the client cannot do this on their own in their LP account.
- The simplest way to guide the client through this is by advising them to reach out to LP and state the following: "We need the Client ID {LpClientID} to have the API access for GetActiveProspectLeads checked off."
Setting up Conversion Feedback while setting up LeadPerfection Delivery Step
-
During the setup of the LeadPerfection Delivery step, you will be prompted to either
a. select from a dropdown list of existing LeadPerfection credentials or
b. input the username and password
-
After you have configured the username, you will be prompted to input the LeadPerfection Client ID:
- The system will then display a prompt informing you that LeadPerfection has been successfully setup.
- Within this prompt, the system will notify you if it detects that the Client ID does not have the correct permissions to enable Conversion Feedback
Setting up Conversion Feedback after LeadPerfection recipient has already been configured:
Enable conversion feedback by navigating to your step, opening the Feedback Settings section, and enabling the Receive Lead Conversions toggle.
To actually send conversion feedback to a source, you need to set up each individual source to receive feedback:
- Navigate to your sources
- Select the 3 horizontal dots under Actions
- Select Feedback Settings
- Turn on Lead Conversion, and configure the source URL, any field mappings, etc..:
LeadPerfection Conversion Feedback FAQs
Are there any required fields for conversion feedback?
Yes, the LeadConduit’s Event ID is required for retrieving conversion feedback. LeadConduit automatically maps this field for you, but in case you have overridden the default mapping, LeadConduit won’t be able to retrieve conversion feedback from the leads that are missing this information.
How can I see the conversion feedback received from LeadPerfection?
To see any conversion feedback received from LeadPerfection, you can check your Flow dashboard, create a Report, or go into the lead event details:
Is there a report for LeadPerfection conversion feedback created by default?
Currently a Conversion Feedback report for LeadPerfection is not created by default, but you can easily create a report like the following:
With the configurations listed below:
- Columns: Enable Conversion Received Submitted, Conversion Received Success, Conversion Received Failure, and Conversion Received Error
- Groupings: Add Source Name and Feedback Reason
Should we expect responses and disposition reasons to be consistent across LeadPerfection accounts, or does each account define their own?
Dispositions can be customized per LeadPerfection account, so you should not assume dispositions are consistent across accounts.
Examples:
-
Datais standard in LeadPerfection and typically indicates a lead without an appointment (often meaning “fresh” or “untouched”). -
Setis standard in LeadPerfection and typically indicates the lead has an appointment set. - Customers can also create custom dispositions (for example:
ABC-WN), based on how they configure their LeadPerfection system.
How often is conversion feedback retrieved from LeadPerfection?
Unlike Salesforce, which allows for the retrieval of conversion feedback in real-time, LeadPerfection conversion feedback will be initially retrieved approximately every hour.
