Summary: Any report you own in LeadConduit can be shared with people outside your account through a public, view-only link. Viewers see the same numbers you do without logging in, and the report itself stays yours: nobody can change it through the link, and the underlying lead data is never exposed.

How Sharing Works

Sharing creates a public link tied to the report. Anyone who has the link can open the report in their browser without logging in, and they can change the displayed time frame to look at different periods. They can’t edit the report, and they don’t get the links into Lead Events that account users see, so no lead data is reachable through a shared link.

A report that is currently shared shows a green Shared badge next to its title.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the report and select the ⋯ actions menu at the top right.
2. Select Share report: the “Share report via public link” dialog opens.

3. Turn on “Anyone with public link”: the public link appears in the dialog.
4. Copy the link and send it to whoever needs the numbers. View Public Report opens exactly what they will see.

Expected Result: The report shows the Shared badge, and anyone with the link sees the view-only version of the report.

Managing an Existing Share

Once a report is shared, the ⋯ actions menu changes to offer:

• View shared report: opens the public version, the same thing a viewer sees.
• Change shared URL: generates a new link. The old link stops working, so use this when a link has spread further than you wanted.
• Stop sharing report: revokes the link entirely. You can also use Revoke Link inside the sharing dialog.

Someone who opens a revoked or replaced link sees a message that the report is unavailable, not the report.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can viewers change the report?

No. Viewers can change the time frame they’re looking at, and nothing else. Content, columns, and format stay as you set them.

Can viewers see lead data through the link?

No. Shared views don’t include the links into Lead Events, so only the aggregated statistics are reachable.

Do I need to share a Connections Report with my partner?

No. Connections Reports exist in both connected accounts automatically, so your partner already has theirs; there’s nothing to send. Public-link sharing is for people outside the connection. See the Connections Report article.

What happens if I change the shared URL?

The old link stops working immediately and anyone still using it sees an unavailable message. Send the new link to the people who should keep access.
