Feature Snapshot
Summary:
Scheduled reports email a CSV of any LeadConduit report to one or more recipients on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence. Set it up once, and you no longer need to sign in and export the same report by hand.
Key Benefits:
- No more repetitive manual exports.
- Send to teammates or external partners, with or without a LeadConduit login.
- Rolling date ranges move forward with every send, so the data is always current.
- An optional expiration date stops the schedule automatically.
Typical Use Cases:
- A buyer sends a weekly source performance report to the sales team every Monday.
- A seller emails a daily summary of accepted and rejected leads to an operations inbox.
- A buyer shares a monthly report with a partner who doesn’t use LeadConduit.
How Scheduled Reports Work
At each scheduled time, LeadConduit runs the report and emails every recipient a link to download the CSV. Each email uses the report’s saved columns, filters, groupings, and date range. If the report has unsaved changes when you create the schedule, LeadConduit saves them first.
The date range is applied at the moment each email is sent.
Creating a Schedule
- Open the report in Reports and set the date range you want each email to use.
- Click the ⋯ menu and select Schedule report.
- Fill in the settings below, then click Create Schedule.
Schedule Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Recipients | One or more email addresses. Recipients don’t need a LeadConduit account |
| Send to me | Adds your own email address. Checked by default |
| Let recipients download without signing in | Lets people outside your account download the CSV. See below |
| Schedule | Daily (time), Weekly (Monday to Friday, and time), or Monthly (the 1st, the 15th, or the last day, and time) |
| Expiration date | The last day the report is sent. Leave empty to send indefinitely |
Times use your account time zone. If your computer is in a different time zone, both are shown. Before you save, the blue message at the bottom confirms when the first email goes out and which data it contains.
Sending to people outside your account
By default, recipients must sign in to LeadConduit with access to your account to download the CSV. Checking Let recipients download without signing in removes that requirement, but it also shares the report: anyone with the email link, including anyone it’s forwarded to, can view the report and download its exports. To revoke access, unshare the report; links in emails already sent stop working. See Sharing a Report.
What Recipients Receive
One email per send, with a subject such as Source Performance | Daily Scheduled Report Export. The email contains a link to a download page rather than an attachment, so access stays under your control. Each email links to its own file: an older email still downloads the data it was sent with.
Editing or Deleting a Schedule
-
A scheduled report shows a calendar icon next to its name, and its ⋯ menu shows Edit schedule.
-
Open either to change the settings and click Update Schedule, or click Delete to stop the schedule.
Edits to the report’s columns, filters, or groupings apply to the next send. Renaming the report doesn’t affect the schedule; deleting the report deletes it.
Best Practices
- Match the date range to the frequency: Yesterday for daily, Last Week for weekly, Last Month for monthly. You get every lead once, with no gaps or overlaps.
- Review the report before letting external recipients download without signing in, since they can see the whole report.
- Keep Send to me checked at first, so you see what recipients see.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely Cause | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| A recipient can’t download without signing in | Let recipients download without signing in is off | Turn it on and click Update Schedule |
| Every email has the same data | The report uses a fixed date range | Switch to a rolling range and update the schedule |
| The daily email only has part of the day | The date range is Today | Use Yesterday |
| An old email link stopped working | The report was unshared, or the file expired | Use a newer email or export the report directly |
| The email isn’t arriving | Spam filtering or a typo in the address | Check the spam folder and the recipient list |
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Why a link instead of an attachment?
So you stay in control: unsharing the report stops links that were already sent. An attachment can’t be taken back.
Can I send the same report on different schedules?
Each report has one schedule. Duplicate the report and schedule the copy.
Can I pause a schedule?
Not at the moment. Delete it and create a new one later, or set an expiration date.
